MATCH INFO:
Northern League Division Two
Saturday 9th March, Bedford Terrace, Kick Off 3:00pm.
Town: All Royal Blue
Crook: Amber Shirts, Black Shorts.
Officials: James Lowery, Anthony Spencer, Peter Yuill.

FOCUS ON CROOK:
Only five players who started the game against Birtley Town in midweek, also began the reverse fixture when Billingham ran out comfortable 3-0 winners back in October. Crook have gone on an excellent eight game unbeaten run with only one defeat since the turn of a new year - a 1-2 home reversal to Billingham Synthonia. Manager Jamie Tunstall has made several astute signings, bringing in Jake Petijean from Stockton Town and an in form Daniel Kent from Esh Winning. Live-wire Liam Jarvie will also look to create scoring opportunities. The tenacious Joe Smith has also been getting in on the act, with four goals in eight games. A fair number of their recent goals have come from set-pieces - Chris Dunwell being one of the aerial targets. Ex Norton & Stockton striker Phil Calley is expected to be out for the rest of the season while Ellis Husband who scored from long range in midweek, faces a late fitness test. Ex Town lads Dan Maddison and Richie Gaston could make the squad.

ONE TO WATCH: JAKE PETIJEAN
Another product of Stockton Town’s impressive youth system. Figured for Stockton in division one and has settled in at Crook with ease. Central midfielder who can play in a holding or creative role. Six goals in his last eight games tells its own story.

Crook 5-3 Birtley Town (Husband, Jarvie, Kent 3)

TALKING TOWN:
On Tuesday night, Town signed the well travelled striker Callum Hassan from Tow Law Town. The forward, offers qualities that Town lacked such as physical and aerial strengths. Hassan last scored against Town while playing for Washington (division one side at the time) in the League Cup during season 2016/17. His former clubs include Hartlepool United, Whitby Town and West Auckland. Hassan goes straight into the squad. On the injury front, Mark Dixon is ruled out for the next two weeks while Stephen Jackson is at least a week away from a return. Stephen Oakley has returned to light training duties along with Reece Kenney. Elliott Beddow was assessed on Thursday night and was deemed to be fit enough to be included in the squad. Due to the said injuries, there will be several changes to the side that lost to Thornaby last weekend.
