Sorry ch1401 but when you wish Lauren the best of luck surely a physio's job on a football pitch is to recognize and assess an injury straight away not go away to have a look in a text book. You say people are frightened of anything new Fearn and Spinky arn't new tried them last year they failed miserably. Even down to paying agents.

Did she need to check her text book or was she alright? What level of experience is acceptable?

Can't believe we're even criticising a new physio before she has the chance to show us what she's about.

On a side note, I can't think of a single profession where more staff/specialisation is seen as a bad thing.

As I read these posts nobody is criticizing Lauren just the management for sacking a more experienced physio, surely the level of experience necessary is the best you can get.

Hardly sacked more along the lines of manoeuvred out of the club to enable the introduction of chosen others, who have no empathy with (the also manoeuvred out) Martin Mackintosh.

I mean, if the new manager wants to build his own coaching team and recruit his own staff, is that really so inconvenienceable? At any club the sacking of existing staff and their replacement by new staff following a change in management wouldn't bat an eye lid. It seems some will here will go at lengths to criticise Spink for anything. Next we'll be hearing that's he dared to bring in his own assistant manager.

So when they manoeuvred mm out,the managers position became available so who else was interviewed for the job because spink was nowhere near qualified for this position on merit so who were others and how come he got it seems to be jobs for the boys but realistically who else applied

As I said on this forum when MM was sacked who would want the Frickley job with a board who gos from blunder to blunder just like some pasted boards at Frickley have done and IMO are still are doing. Who would want to work with the two dictators running the club? If I was a manager of any credibility I wouldn’t. Why don’t we ever hear any thing from other board members have they all left the club? Where is the chairman has he gone?
By the way who is the puppet board members these days does any one know any more?
I know I have said before Frickley AFC is no longer the club it used to be it’s become a them
[ board ] and use [ some Fans ] club. Not our club in it together as it once was.
It’s just a shame we have the like of ch1401 posting his rubbish about the new model and bringing player on and we should be pushing for play offs and all the other trash he posts.
He will be around for a while then be off into the sunset hopefully taking his model with him.
As a result I am bored with his trash and so this is my last post on this thread / subject.
That should make the board happy.
PS. Is ch1401 on the board as a puppet board member? He has at least got their model print all over him. :D :D

I agree fully f1 two dictators running the club personally l call them stronger than that but there is also a third person that really surprises me in this and that is Phil mccroakam here we have a decent man who is Frickley through and through as is his dad.l can’t see him being happy at all with what is happening as he’s one of the most vocal fans on the terrace along with his dad. Finally what are the old board members thoughts on it as I’m sure they aren’t happy with the current regime and not having a say in things

Might be worth noting that both Hyde United and South Shields (two very decent Evo-Stik football clubs) have both adopted restructures similar to Frickley for next season.

Well ch1401 what do you think of Spink's ramblings now, he says lots of experienced players Hazel, Liversage, JB and Jorden spring to mind, do you know any others that have played at this level or above regularly. Have you seen the team on the website have I missed something or do we not have a center half, Sam is a 100% player every game but surely not a regular c/h.

In terms of the experienced players, you have Hazel, Liversidge, Jordan and Burton who all have numerous seasons in the Evo-Stik. You then have Smiljanic and Pugh, who played in the Evo-Stik last year, and have arguably had years of experience playing in a higher standard league (America).

Must admit I am concerned a little about the defence- I agree and think we are probably one centre-half short. That said, I'd be confident with Sam Liversidge and Todd Jordan being our partnership next season.
