It is to hoped that one of the players he is talking to is a center half I can't see Liversage, Mears and Carrick stopping much. Cable did look good when he played last season.

Presuming he plays four at the back (as I think he did at Harworth) then I think a right back, left back and centre half is a must. Added to that a few more midfielders and another forward, plus a back up GK, then that should be the squad in full.

Do you mean ch1401 they should get players in like the ones they have just let go or got rid of. Now that’s a novel way of doing things don’t you think? Get rid of a very good proven manager bring in a novice manager without a proven record and bring in lads who will as someone has said get kicked off the park or lower div players that are not good enough.
Now that’s a great new model way of doing things.
You say let’s try it and see how it go’s for a few weeks.
THEN WHAT I ASK?
PLAY OFFs.
HEAD IN THE CLOUDS COMES TO MIND.

Realistically, only four players who left last season will be missed- Ible, Walton, Hinsley and Algar. We can assume that for whatever reason, Walton and Ible didn't want to stick around for next season and left on their own accord. Algar had a nasty injury towards the end of last season. We've already spoken at length about Hinsley, but if management don't want him next season then let's at least see how it goes. I'm not saying everything will be rosy, just that the new manager and players should be given a chance- is that such a controversial position to hold?

It is controversial when said management lasted about 6months last season before walking away because we were probably going to get relegated.

Didn't realise Spink, Valente and Birch were in charge last season- care to enlighten me?

Spink and Fearn were certainly in charge last year just as they are now

I'll be very impressed to see how Fearn picks the team/tactics every Saturday whilst he's at Sheffield Wednesday u16s

So they have a sporting director that’s not going to attend games?

I see Luke Hinsley has resigned for Matlock not good enough for Frickley but good enough for premier league.

You should have just put NCEL Frickley1 you've made CH1401's day now. Another NCEL player signed today . . . A pattern is emerging here.

Call me unorthodox, but I prefer to watch the lads play a few times before I write them off.

it looks like spinky and spen prefer to do their shopping in aldi or lidl, as pointed out another signing from ncel, but we might strike lucky with one of them.
just a thought........jameel ible, Richard Patterson, Nathan valentine, and bailey gooda, are all on the lookout for a club, some might say we have been here before, theyve done their time and moved on....but what a spine down the middle for any club at our level with aspirations to achieve promotion.
