You're right Old School about not doing it right from the start. The friendlies are there for a reason and it seems nobody took any notice of the results. Had we kept MM or started with Dave Freck we would be top of the league now. But we are where we are, maybe it was a question of money.

Get well soon Old School iv'e got my head out of sand just to read your posts we all need a laugh now and again with regards to your money question bluebeard just heard a rumour that the u18's have been asked to pay £140 to play for club but don't know any details. Denis I hope your'e not going to take your shoes and socks off to count to 40 / 50 its getting cold for us oldies but I hope your right.

Hi David, it's pasted 2am, just woke up in the chair 3 hours sleep, not ready for bed now, so I thought I would let you know the result of the survey.

I did predick 40/50 Frickley fans would be at todays match at Stamford 85 miles each way.

I must admit, on reflection 30/40 would have been a better bet.

Sadly we had a bad result on the pitch, I think it was 5-1 I lost count.

BUT the number of Frickley supporters in attendance and counted by a authority on Frickley Football Club

was 43, I must admit I could only count 35, but a guy called PAUL BAINES did a count, he knows more faces than I do therefore we have a

officiall verdict. 43.
