Well very good point on Saturday, keep our little run going.
Very little between the two sides, thought our back four was superb and then when we switched to three they were even better, very good change of shape at the right time by the management. for all the possession they had I think only a glancing header second half was all we had to deal with, we created some good chances but their keeper pulled off two very good stops.
Came away more than happy with a clean sheet and a point.

Saturday home to Whickham

Performance on Saturday gave me as much pleasure as some of the tonkings we have handed out this season. Synners are a good side who like to play and have two decent wide men. Early on they dragged us about a bit and the two wide lads were getting the ball in space to run at us however as Maz says the management team spotted this early and reverted to 3-5-2 and we looked even better in defence after that as the width disappeared for the two wide lads and the full backs pushing on - master stroke from the bench. We might have nicked a goal very early and very late with their keeper pulling off two good saves from Hepps (M) and Jackie the later a very good tip over from Jacks excellent run and shot - he kept going really well on a bit of a heavy pitch. Would have been nice to nick all three but happy with one although Aidy never had a shot to save - top defending. My MOM well I thought Moley never stopped running all day and Maz and Jackie fought well against a good Synners midfield but I thought Hepps (D) was immense on Saturday just edging Kegs and Pecks.
