Well we dominated from the first whistle till the last and as per sunday sun report it could have been double figures by half time, some of our passing and movement 1st half was superb.

Second half our tempo dropped off but we created 7-8 great chances and a big plus was the clean sheet.

Very tough game at home on Tuesday against Ryhope CW

Dominated ..... perfect word for that game ..... a complete performance !

Only thing missing ..... more goals ! Not often we score 5 and complain that it should have been 10 :D

Birtleys 7,8 & 11 totally played out of the game by Maz, Jake & Joe.

The Chester Messi (Craig Mickle) popping up all over the place ...... Birtley couldn't play him.

MOTM : Difficult one as everyone was excellent ..... but Kegs ..... Back to his best, kept the back 4 alert & won everything in the air against Clarkson.

Very strong bench too!

Consummate performance to greet my homecoming. Even though landed at Manchester at half seven in the morning no sleep I couldn't fail to be woken up by the first half performance from the lads. Exciting to watch everyone playing for each other, total domination and disappointed with ONLY three goals!!!!!!!!!! Second half, consolidation, steady as she goes but punctuated by two excellent goals from Craig M and Hepps (M). Great shifts all round my MOM this time was by a hairs breadth Jake Stafford never stopped running box to box and chipped in as well, lets hope he stays fit as we have a good mix in that vital middle of the park area.
