I agree. Seems to happen alot in the league these days. Standards going down?

I think the league as a whole is becoming a lower standard (as are both of the Northern League divisions).

I fancied Boldon to go well this season given some of the players they signed and management moving from Harton. That is a hiding though, wonder whats going wrong?

Pretty much so Si. Never known this league to have such a massive gulf in standards than it has now. It’s a case of yeah come join us regardless of how good your team or ground is.

Amy old house mate went from pub league to alliance, just got told to turn up on a saturday morning and he would get a game. seems the way things are going. As likes of auckland and district leagues have gone players and/or teams have been bumped up to wearside level
