As above, Bishops again host Championship side Boro at Heritage Park in a pre season fixture. Last seasons game finished 0-3 to the visitors in front of just under 1,000 fans.

Bishops other pre season opponents include Great Annual Savings (Home), Willington (Away), Hebburn (Home) and Stockton Town (Away).

Grown man calling Spennymoor "Great Annual Savings"

I don't why our club play you to put money in your coffers when your that bitter and jealous of your illustrious neighbours.

It'll only be another cricket score like last time anyway, we"ll choose how many we beat you by and send your little pub team into another season of discontent and a step 5 relegation battle

You must be on crack or something, show me photo or video evidence of this because you're literally talking out your backside and you know you are aswell!

I could get somebody from the club to make you look stupid but at the end of the day Horseland are just a little pub team down the road playing in a trolley park.

Tickets still available for Bishops v Boro in two weeks time. Can be bought on line via Bishops website www.bishopafc.com or at the Bishops Museum Shop in the town centre. All seated tickets in the main stand have gone so just standing remain, however the open seated stand behind the goal is available on first come first served basis.

Over 1,100 tickets sold so far I believe for next Saturdays opening friendly vs Championship side Middlesbrough FC, 1pm kick off at Heritage Park.

Just under 900 tickets remain and anyone wanting one can purchase via www.bishopafc.com or from the Bishops Museum Shop in the town centre.

Fast approaching a sell out now!! Which is a tremendous effort for a friendly, over 1,700 tickets sold which leaves around 300 left.
