Here's my report from tonight's Northern League Division Two clash between Washington and Brandon United where goals from Kieran Alderson (x2), Robert White, Wayne Whitfield and Kai Hewitson helped Brandon to an impressive 0-5 win.

Not a fan of these new 4 g grounds Conner if i'm honest. I know players prefer grass all day long. I tend to agree with them. Enclosed grounds have a much better appeal and feel about them. Each to their own tho.

Good report again Connor. The old pitch ran north to south now it's east to west.
Couldn't agree more with Bigc. These new 4g grounds have absolutely no character about them. Training goals all the way round the sides of the pitch look horrendous. Not my cup of tea. But as said previous each to there own.

Yeah, I prefer a grass pitch too. Work well for kids football, but not what I'd look for from a Northern League ground

Good read connor. Im sure a team in stockport were once demoted as there ground was like a cage with see through fencing. One good thing about these modern grounds is you get a decent car park

I dislike these new 4G grounds immensely, however I get why they are popping up everywhere, so its quite possible the FA have relaxed the ground grading regards full enclosure, however it used to be the case.

Great report Connor, thanks for your reports, I enjoy them
