I can only think, and this is just speculation but going off Johnna's previous post about the latest management, they may be on their way?

As you'll know now, that was what I was meaning. Since Lee gave notice, results fell away again.

I just can't see what the club can do now to stay viable. They won't be competitive in the Wearside league either.

Yeah wearside will be no walkover and question is who would want to manage there now? Surely they must be running out of mugs now to take on management and committee roles

Maybe they’ll keep dropping down the pyramid and eventually become competitive in the Crook and District league

The FA has released the league’s in which the step 6 relegated clubs are going to be placed & Durham City have been placed into the Wearside League. Subject to appeal’s, that must be submitted within 7 days.

The North East Combination div 2. Lovely set of lads, got a central midfielder who looks like Richard Stilgoe...

It would be lovely to see the old Durham Alliance Board dedicated to Saturday leagues operating below Northern Allliance and Wearside Leagues.

I think it would create traffic.

North East Combination 2nd Division.......... Hardly fills you with hope and expectation for the club  but I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
You must be pulling your hair out mate, I know you have supported and backed the club for many years.

The Wearside league is a very competitive one and warrants a club with ambition, to play NL to have a top management/coaching team, top players, and financial backing.
No doubt this lad along with the new secretary/chairman/general dogsbody, who by the way seems to be doing a smashing job, and seems very keen, will be used just like all the rest have to furnish the egos of people who know zero of how to run a nonleague football club.

Johnna I hope you aren’t suggesting a certain bloke who’s own personal vendettas ruined the Durham Alliance . Dear me , might aswell put Sepp Blatter back in charge of FIFA.

Hahahah! No Colin, I'm not LOL! He squeezed millions in fines from me over the years!

I'm suggesting the Durham Alliance board on this website gets renamed and repurposed.
