I think planned repairs would had to have been postponed because of the weather (gale force winds in particular). I believe it has been rescheduled for 29th Jan.

I was very surprised that Bedlington turned down our offer to reverse the Fixture. Especially as we haven't played each other yet. The NL gave permission to switch, Officials were willing , we were, yet the offer was turned down.

Hadn't heard that, Saturday was my first game for a while, and only heard about the lights being repaired

When i received the notification from Terry i immediately offered to reverse the fixture , the league secretary okd it but Bedlington Chairman said no. Its not a problem just thought it would suit to switch and play the game.

We've played fewer home games in the past couple of months due to postponements, therefore less income - perhaps that was a factor to get it rescheduled ASAP rather than reverse (which would make it the last game of the season). Just my idle speculation though, and I'm sure the club appreciated the offer!
