Nice welcome result and performance (particularly the opening 20 minutes to the 2nd half when we blew away Ryhope with some good attacking football) from Bishops on Saturday. Poor crowd though, just 203 in, our worst for a few seasons in the league, however expected a lower one with a near non existent away following, good weather and the start of the bank holiday!

I think we will now get stronger with the additions of Judson and Parnaby in the middle of the park and Fairley and Fryatt now back. I think Carling has brought more of a calming influence to the back four in the last 2 games but we still need to tighten up in certain areas.

Ashington at home on Wednesday.

Yes, we only needed to be on top for 20 minutes to take the game away from CW.
