Apart from a bright opening 10 minutes by Bishops Consett were by far the better side and attacked at will from the moment they got their first goal. Liversedge brilliant between the sticks once again kept the score down at half time. The third goal well and truly killed the game dead but thankfully Bishops heads didn't go down and some spirit was shown to at least start testing the Consett defence although too little too late. Fairley took his goal well to give the scoreline an ounce of respectability.
