The league’s have been sworn to secrecy. They all found out this morning. All I know, is the projection on Tony’s Nonleague forum is quite a way out. I know Golcar have been placed in the NWCL1N, Shepshed, Loughborough Uni & Quorn have been moved to the UCL. Whittlesey & Saffron Dynamos have been promoted into the UCL. The Herefordshire clubs have all been moved to the Hellenic League & all the bottom placed clubs at step 6 have been relegated. The Nonleague Paper will release the constitutions on Sunday. The league’s aren’t allowed to spill the beans until 7:30 Sunday morning.

so are the northern league going to run with 19 teams in each league as the only way I can se 20 teams in each league is to promote the 3rd team in the northern league 2nd division and then transfer Carlisle city and cleator moor celtic from the the NWCL to northern league 2nd division.

What a load of tosh. What will be gained by keeping these facts secret until tomorrow? Will anything have changed between yesterday and tomorrow? I doubt it. Seems to me there is some collusion between the FA and the Nonleague Paper to boost their sales. Or do I expect too much?

Surely you can't have an AGM of member clubs, until all the member clubs have been decided?

But aint it generally the league agms where its decided which clubs will be joining or in some leagues cases been removed?

Surely that's down to The FA rather than the league members?

Billingham Town, Thornaby, Northallerton Town, promoted to NL div 1.
Carlisle City laterally transferred to NL div 2, Durham City reprieved, Newcastle University and Sunderland West End promoted to NL div 2.

Yep I’ve just posted the constitutions & I can only apologise for the assumption that the FA wouldn’t promote 3 step 6 clubs. Plus the information that I received that bottom placed club’s were all relegated. It appears that League’s that were full(20+20) have suffered relegation & the ppg basis rules have been ignored. Durham City being near the bottom

So Durham City are saved from relegation to the Wearside League.

No ground, no prospect of a ground, and not a pot to pi** in.......but hey lads lets save them, after all they were in the Football League once upon a time.
