I understand that the clubs have been given details of how this will be managed.
I have been thinking about this and, although uninformed myself, as yet, as to how it will be managed, I wonder what will happen if a team has five players sent to the sin bin in the same ten minute period? Under the current laws, as I understand them, the referee would be obliged to abandon the match.

Will the referee indicate a player being sent to the bin by the use of a different coloured card? Orange (red mixed with yellow) sounds nice 8)

Does anyone know if the sin bin applies to local and national cup competitions or just league matches?

Will each team have it's own bin and of what material will it be constructed?

Where will the bin(s) be situated and will it(they) have windows to allow the occupants to watch the on-field action? Or will they look like this:

The referee will just show a yellow card and point to the dugout to put someone in the sin bin Keith

A player will go back to the dugout and wait there when they've been sent to the sin bin

Can't remember exactly what was said at the AGM about if you have five players in the sin bin. Hopefully won't come to that haha

Will they have them for the managers?
Just that may be a relevant question regarding the RCA!

What happens if a player is sin binned twice or more in one game?

If a player commits 2 sin bin offences he can not return to the game. However if all 3 substitutes have not been used he can be substituted.

If a player who has been sin binned twice, also has a yellow card he cannot be substituted

Don’t think it will be used that much and might fizzle out

From my perspective as a ref, it is a dog's breakfast.

Refs have had a horrible summer through no fault of their own and this will be worse than VAR. If a team is getting thrashed there is nothing stopping them getting 5 players sin binned. Match officials on a hiding to nothing.

That could happen without the sin bin just by a few players feigning injury but I have never known of it.

I’m guessing 5 sin binned players will lead to repercussions, in the same manner that 5 red cards would.
