I said when they were promoted I thought they would do very well in the league, and now sit 4th after beating much fancied for promotion Easington, away 3-0, two points behind the leaders with two games in hand.

A superb youth system with some of the best young players in the area, they remind me a little of the way Stockon Town were, other than one thing, a home ground.
Although before having their 4G ground built, Stockton themselves played on a little backfield but built as a club, did things the right way and look at them now.

So here is my question, if they, Boro Rangers, do get into a promotion spot, as I believe they are well and truly capable of doing, how will they stand as toward their current ground situation in Division One?

Will probs be promoted regardless of how far away they play as long as it meets ground grading which stocksley will. Blyth town were promoted to division 1 despite ground sharing

Wasnt that a few years back Kirky, are the rules concerning this still the same I think the difference is Blyth wont have as Borro Rangers will possibly do, achieve two promotions without their own ground, or am I wrong?

Blyth got promoted with own ground to division 2 and went up to division 1 whilst ground sharing with ashington. Must have only been about 4 year back

Certainly made a very good start this season, I thought they might do well but maybe not this well.

As for any potential promotion, As long as the ground they elect to play at meets the standards then they will have no issues. I know their own ground is in the pipeline and would be good to see them back there ASAP

Well if all goes smoothly I can definitely see them pushing and progressing over the next few years, similar to Stockton.
Middlesbrough/Teesside has a huge catchment area of top players, and them being the only Middlesbrough-based side in the NL the skys the limit..

All confirmed now to be playing at Stokesley starting tomorrow against Boldon CA.

Back where they belong to be honest in a Middlesbrough location, wish I could say the same about ourselves.

True but not 'that' far. Nunthorpe is only 5 miles away, which is a Middlesbrough location.

The new ground when its finished is only 8 miles from Stokesley too.

Has Middlesbrough in the address so that's good enough for me.

even playing 8/10 mile from your traditional base will be hard sell to attract fans to a new northen league club but a hell of a tad closer than new ferens park and nicer ground too and hopefully wont be there too long unlike billingham synthonia who seem to have no prospects of a ground in town anytime soon
