Both Thornaby and Billingham Town are looking for new Managers after the weekend. Billingham Towns Paul Ward has stepped down according to the Clubs website , and Thornaby have parted Company with Steve Bell due to poor results, according to their Facebook page.

Very surprised at the Billingham Town announcement, they were a different class last season, and have quickly established themselves in the top half of Div 1

Both surprises for me tbh. Why clubs dont give managers a chance when they go up is beyond me. The likelihood of no relegation from Div 1 makes it all the more baffling, they could have given it until the end of the season.

Craig Haley has stepped in until the end of the season at Thornaby.

Eddie leaving Billingham Town was a real shock, they have performed very well this season.

But you don't know what goes on behind closed doors at clubs unless your on a committee..

The statement said something to do with a change in circumstances at the club, can anyone shed any light?

Thornaby - actually thought it was Paul Crager who was in charge with Bell his number 2.

Billy Town - doing really well on the pitch. A statement I saw from the outgoing manager referred to 'issues within the club' and a 'change of circumstances'. Perhaps their performances on the pitch is masking problems behind the scenes...?
