That is surely it!

With our current placing and little hope of improvement, I am now resigned to the mighty Spartans being relegated.

I hear all the comments about improved performance, didn't deserve to lose and such platitudes, but they are getting very hollow now.

There are a few good players left, and who would make a sound foundation that a new manager could build on next season. Yes, I said a new manager - we need to look elsewhere I’m afraid.

The board must get rid of the present manager. No other manager with Clark's results would have lasted as long . If he is retained until the end of the season a new manager would have to start all over again recruiting players ... from where? If Clark
had any feelings for the club he would have walked. I despair for the future of the team.

In defence of Lee Clark he will be working on a reduced budget from last season which has seen him having to recruit from the northern league and loose a few players to Darlington and York and the like. Could anyone else do any better?
