Really not sure Keith, haven't played a league game since the end of August and they have withdrawn for a cup competition but no news from the league

I will answer the question ref: Wallsend

After failing to fulfil fixtures in the league and NFA county cup, Wallsend have tended their resignation from the League and this has been accepted. We as a league have supported Wallsend with their off field problems however there has to be a time when things come to a head and unfortunately a team has gone, however the league will continue with 8 strong teams and we will be actively recruiting for new teams to join the league for next season. I hope this answers any questions.

That's a shame. Have the Durham combination and Wearside Leagues any plans to come together and form a second Division next season or are they going to continue separately ? Cant help but think the 2 would benefit with an amalgamation .

I agree with the above 100% or at the very least have an agreed relegation/ promotion protocol...

Think they tried to amalgamate two seasons ago but politics got in the way. Crying shame the way this league is at the moment. It's only surviving because teams joined it from a league that folded.

Former Wearside Combination teams only account for 1/8th of the Durham Alliance Combination league.
