Oldham Athletic technically not relegated after match abandoned due to pitch invasion protest. Should really take it on the chin. Bigger clubs than them have dropped to non league. At a guess the result will stand and points deduction will be there for next season. The results on the pitch speak for themselves. |

Cant say i blame them for protesting, not just a bad season been badly ran for years. If relegated they will be the first ex premier league club to drop to non league |

They played the rest of the game behind closed so Oldham are actually relegated Taken From - https://twitter.com/EFL_Comms/status/15 ... 7e4JAqAAAA 1) An EFL spokesperson said: “This afternoon’s Sky Bet League Two fixture between Oldham Athletic and Salford City has been concluded behind closed doors. 2) “The remaining 14 minutes played resulted in a final scoreline of Oldham Athletic 1 Salford City 2 and as a result Oldham Athletic have been relegated from League Two. |

Did post it as above your post they were relegated etc. You gain Buxton and Banbury for the North. We gain Oldham and Scunthorpe, at least it makes it more Northern. Scunthorpe look like the usual EFL basket case may well end going straight down again unless they sort themselves out. Oldham who knows with all the constant aggro there either way they are both in for a shock as this the hardest league to get promoted from. |

The article I read said an hour after all the mayhem. Read rumours today that Scunthorpe (from their fans) may go into admin or end up like Bury and Macclesfield. But been reading this was on the cards for a while. |

But been reading this was on the cards for a while. Seems to be a trend last few seasons where clubs going down from efl are some of the bigger clubs but are suffering off the field strife. Never knew Scunthorpe were in so much trouble. Chairman lost intrest? |
