Been watching Conference Football since we were relegated in 1993-8
2004 -2020.(including glue league stay)
Its the worst I've seen with modern coaching methods that are going backwards. The manager we have now said after defeat said I will check out how far they have run they did not run enough. Our last manager sacked a player for his GPS tracker being the lowest mileage in the squad.
Is this what they are teaching them for their badges.
There seems to be lack of strikers nowadays priority seems to be clean sheets.
The object of the game -scoring goals seems to secondary.
Fitness seems to be a problem as well we have a few players who can only play about 60 minutes (we are not the only club).
Going full time has made no difference.
