National will only have 3 teams relegated as far as I have read due to Bury folding.
There may be no relegation at all from L2 if Macclesfield go pop players on strike again Saturday not been paid.
Bury phoenix want to join the National(no chance this will happen but you never know)

Then there is the AGM Cup -no Gateshead mess in the National this season so far.

Watch some northern team get demoted if its all southern based teams in the relegation zones. If bury are allowed in any division of the national league there will be a outcry

Well the new Bury club will start at step 5/6 - FC United had to do that when they got into the North West Counties League Division Two at the time, Bury will have to, that's the rules

Its a Bury phoenix wish to join the conference-backed by their MP. Chester complained step 5 couldn't cope with them and succeeded. This is the Bury argument being used.
They changed the rules after that. Darlington and Hereford had to start lower down.
Meanwhile the original Bury FC have still not been officially wound up yet.

Whilst the original bury still exist a new breakaway club starting at step 5 or 6 is not too bad
