Macclesfield fail to pay their players again.

Ebbsfleet the same. See players seem to be leaving one said something about missing a mortgage payment. According to their manager a couple of months ago their budget was cut to £900,000 (dwarfs ours).

And gateshead got demoted whilst ebbsfleet continue to get up to there old tricks of paying there wages late. Good set of fans actually but they should have been punished. Macclesfield issues seem to have been going on for a while now, who owns them?

How can they be in such a mess after nearly a million pound income from the EFL.
Conference National clubs get somewhere near £50,000 a season last time our chairman had a moan about the difference.
Their owner should be removed especially as it was going on last season.

Seems its a asian owner at macclesfield. Seems to be a familiar story with dodgy owners from abroad ruining lower league clubs. Whys hes not offloaded them is a mystery, cant be much to pilfer from macclesfield

Oh deary me. Heard it on bbc radio 5 today
Championship clubs 11% in deficit just on players wages 2017-18.
INCOME 794 MILLION
Ex Wigan official said he and his grandad had to put a million a month in to just stand still. Yet EFL says its all sustainable.

Some more info

Anyone expecting a trickle down effect.

Premiership was mentioned the top 6 in profit but all the rest except Burnley gambling to stay there.

Macclesfield deducted 6 points and now game off Saturday, ground failed safety certificate apparently.

No idea how true this is.
