To quote a Chinese saying

" We live in interesting times"

Its a bit like when the West conquered the Americas and killed more by disease than warfare. But all caused by globalisation.

Cannot see in anyway this season restarting.

But if that does happen, what the hell happens to this season? void it? continue next season to make it the 19-21 season and finish the reaming games? So many things to decide

The outcome of all leagues could be decided by Points Per Game, one of the FA's favourite phrases.

Unlikely to go PPG.

May work in the lower leagues. But seen/read this will end up in lawsuits where the big boys play.

The bigger worry is how many teams will be left(from the ashes) when it gets back to some sort of normality.
Barnet have just sacked off all their youth team due to the virus, presume this will be the first of many.

All our local council leisure facilities are closing down for 12 weeks along with the schools.
Just going by this football must go the same way so this means a possible restart in June. Unless they decide other ways of ending the season.
One good thing Wuhan no more infected there.

"The National League may need up to £20m of government money to help survive the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, according to Dagenham managing director Steve Thompson."

It's all up in the air right now what will happen next, no matter what happens though, some people will probably not like it at all

No one will be happy but it will be ridiculous if each league takes different options. Its like the pm saying pubs that do food can stay open to the public and those that dont have to close. Like everything lately it needs consistancy. If all leagues in europe are scrapped now a few will be peed off but more likely to see legal action if each league has different rules

The National League have asked The FA for assistance in postponing all remaining fixtures and to end the season as soon as possible.

The National League has advised clubs in its three divisions to vote in favour of ending the regular season without playing games that were scheduled up to 25 April.

If the vote passes, clubs will then be asked to help "determine the outcomes of the season" through further polls.

A decision is expected to be made next week.

Latest rumour of how they might complete season.
Re-start season in August(Pandemic ended by then?) play all games.
Season 20/21 truncated into one game only v opposition.
All Cups for that season probably scrapped.

Real reason for hold up on a decision is the EFL.
National cannot promote anyone to EFL or get relegation to National until they decide anything.
