Hardwick Social 4 v 0 Locomotion FC
(Mulligan, Coleman, Stockton, Owens)

Pretty much a no contest once Hardwick went in front after 25 minutes through Mulligan Coleman added a second ten minutes later. Locomotion had a little spell just before half time and had one great chance to make it 2-1 which was spurned
Second half was one way traffic Stockton and a late Owens goal completed the scoring, tbh 4 was the least Hardwick could have scored with lots of opportunities and a missed penalty too. Locomotion must be terribly dissapointed as they never got going today credit to Hardwick for that too as they were not going to be denied.
Great performance by Hardwick again one more final on Thursday for a clean sweep and be unbeaten for season 2016/17

Congrats to all the lads, this trophy has been the holy grail for the team especially after 4 losing finals in 5 years and it was almost beginning to feel like it was jinxed but this year was theirs and they did it in style

Manager Andy Westwood deserves enormous credit for the squad he has put together and the spirit he has built there this last few years this is the culmination of his hard work along with backroom boys Paul Midgely John Heslop Dave Ryder Chloe Thomas and not forgetting stalwart Malla Mohun who after being involved in 7 losing finals was reduced to tears today when Jamie Poole handed over his winners medal. It's been that kind of week for the club lots of emotions for various reasons. Another terrific party in the club today to follow last weeks epic two day celebrations for some ha !!
Up the Wick ...

A fair representation of the game LRN. We were massively disappointed and could have been a lot better on the day but I think even if we had of got a goal before half time the outcome would have been the same. On the day the best team won simple as that! To go a season unbeaten, especially to win All England and county cup is some achievement. Congratulations to all involved and well done to our lads for reaching the final for second time in three years, which itself is some thing to be massively proud of.
No doubt or paths will cross again soon.
