At long last:

Re-development work at Brandon to bring the Welfare Ground up to the required standard will start imminently and is anticipated to take up to 12 weeks. Play will be possible at the ground throughout this period although parts of the grandstand may be cordoned off as work proceeds. We hope all our supporters and visitors will bear with us during this period.

Praise is due to all the members of the committee, particularly our Chairman, for having the patience to battle through all the problems thrown at us to reach this stage.

Also, a warm welcome to Vince Kirkup, on his return to the Welfare Ground to work with Steve Cook as our Northern League Management Team. Looks like a young side this year at Brandon, nothing new there, but the quality of coaching will be excellent as usual and many of these youngsters will no doubt develop into quality players.

It would be nice.......to have supporters and visitors in the first place.

But yes. At LONG LAST some positives. Onward and upward.

Hey Chris,

I hope everything is going well, I'm only going to be home for 2 weeks so think I will just be a spectator as my fitness levels a pretty shocking.

We have been waiting a long time for that fence so hopefully it will help the club move forward.

Dont forget to keep me a seat as the new grandstand could be a sellout

Take care mate.
